How to Use MatchMode

MatchMode has two modes — Player and Organizer. Most users are players. If you run tournaments, you also get the organizer view. Switch roles anytime from your profile.

Create a tournament: set name, date, venue, categories, slots, and entry fee
Generate a Razorpay payment link — players pay directly, webhook auto-verifies
Share a public registration link (register-web.html) on WhatsApp — no app required for registrants
Manage the bracket through 5 stages: Info → Players → Bracket → Start → Results
Upload results after the tournament to trigger rating updates for all participants

How It Works End to End

Create the tournament

Fill in event details, add categories, set slot limits and entry fee. Generate a Razorpay payment link.

Share the registration link

Drop the public link in your WhatsApp group. Players fill a form, pay via Razorpay — and they're auto-registered on your dashboard.

Run the bracket

Use the 5-stage workflow in Tournament Details to seed players, generate the draw, and mark match scores as the day progresses.

Upload results

After the tournament, mark it complete. Ratings and rankings for every participant update automatically. Your reliability score improves.
